Drug ring moved over $5 million in meth  

PA - Law enforcement authorities are claiming a double victory after an 11-month probe into an alleged drug ring.

Investigators say they've smashed a network that brought $5 million worth of crystal methamphetamine into the South Jersey-Philadelphia area, while also hitting hard at the Outlaws motorcycle gang.

Missouri considers options for reducing meth activity  

MO - The pharmaceutical industry has committed to a costly investment in the fight against methamphetamine labs in Missouri, but local law enforcement agencies say the state still needs to do more.

The Consumer Healthcare Products Association, a trade association that represents manufacturers and distributors of over-the-counter drugs, has offered to pay for a system that will track purchases of common cold and allergy medications containing pseudoephedrine throughout Missouri.

Man cooked meth while driving

Portage, MI - Portage police arrested a 44-year-old Kalamazoo motorist Sunday who they say was under the influence of methamphetamine and cooking the drug while he was driving.

Just before 6 a.m. Sunday, police found a vehicle stopped over the curb on Romence Road Parkway near Portage Road, according to a Portage Police Department news release.
