James Palestino
Rocky Mountain regional director
Jim Palestino served 32 years as a law enforcement professional on both the state
and federal level and recently retired from the Drug Enforcement Administration as
the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Denver Field Division after 25 years of
service.
As a former senior-level law enforcement executive he has diverse experience and a proven track record of developing programs to enhance organizational growth and implementing directives that achieve strong, sustainable results.
Jim has developed and continues to foster law enforcement partnerships and community alliances dedicated to address the issues associated with the use and abuse of controlled substances.
Jim’s extensive background in drug law enforcement includes management responsibility over the DEA Demand Reduction and Victim/Witness Protection programs for the Denver Division.
In addition, Jim has coordinated national anti-drug events such as the Red Ribbon Campaign and the Pharmaceutical Controlled Substances Take-Back Initiative.
