TASC is a Delaware State agency that works as a liaison with both the criminal justice and treatment agency systems in order to provide drug and alcohol treatment services to offenders coming through Delaware's Superior Court Drug Court.
Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), June 2008. Contains information on demographics, political figures, crime, drug use, drug trafficking, enforcement, and drug treatment.
The Drug Court is a comprehensive systematic approach to dealing with the needs of defendants with drug problems. It separates nonviolent offenders with substance abuse problems from the more violent offenders who require incarceration. It also separates serious and less serious substance abusers for the appropriate treatment.
