71 year old woman arrested for making meth
Big Lake, MN - Three people, including a 71-year-old woman, are arrested Wednesday in Sherburne County for making methamphetamine.
Deputies discovered the methamphetamine lab in a shed on a property in Big Lake.
Two men, 47 and 49, were arrested when drug task force members executed a search warrant.
The St. Cloud Times reports deputies also found hallucinogenic mushrooms and marijuana on the property.
An independent contractor was called to dismantle the operation.
Deputies' check on child's home, make meth arrests
Washington County, FL - Deputies dispatched to check the welfare of a child on Wednesday smelled strong odors of a meth lab at the residence and arrested two people who had approached the residence before speeding away.
According to a news release, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a welfare check of a child at 2078 Rooks Circle. When deputies arrived at the residence, they smelled strong odors coming from the home, which they recognized to be from a possible meth lab.
Woman remains in critical condition after meth lab explosion
KY - A woman who was badly burned over at least half of her body Tuesday evening after a home meth lab explosion in Fairdale remains in critical condition at University Hospital, a police spokesperson said Thursday.
The woman’s identity has not been released, said Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell, but she is believed to be in her 30s. Charges against her are pending, police said.
