Tennessee seeing more meth labs
Drug agents say the number of methamphetamine labs in Tennessee is on the rise for the first time in 3-4 years. First Judicial Drug Task Force director Jeff Dean says they have busted seven meth labs already in the first quarter of 2009.
Dean says manufacturers of meth are using new methods to beat stricter laws about buying ephedrine, the main ingredient in meth, by having others buy it for them.

"We were No. 1 in the state for meth labs, three years in a row," said Sgt. Stanley Salyards of the Louisville Metro Police Department Narcotics Unit.
