Tulsa police officers sickened at methamphetamine lab
Toxic chemicals from a methamphetamine lab in a Tulsa apartment sickened three officers who raided the operation.
Police say the three officers were treated after coming into contact with the chemicals about 9 p.m. Monday in the Denver Terrace Apartments. The officers were given oxygen at the scene.
Two brothers were arrested after police were called to investigate a strange odor coming from an apartment. Police found a working meth lab.
Officers evacuated a couple of neighboring apartments as a precaution.
Agents break up mostly-female meth ring
EL PASO - DEA agents have busted a suspected methamphetamine ring involving mostly women and allegedly responsible for several meth labs in El Paso and Southern New Mexico.
Nine accused members of the ring, which referred to themselves as the "Circle," were arrested Friday at various locations in the El Paso area, said Matthew Taylor, a spokesman for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Driver arrested for meth after hitting woman in wheelchair
LACEY - A police officer driving behind a Ford pickup saw a pickup run over a woman as she attempted to cross the road in a wheelchair Friday night at the corner of Ruddell Road and 19th Avenue, Lacey police said Monday.
Matthew Rolle, 37, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine after an officer found a “crystal-type substance” in the pickup after the crash, said Lacey Police Lt. Jim Mack. Rolle was released from the Thurston County Jail over the weekend after posting $2,500 bond.
