Jefferson City, MO - Gov. Jay Nixon paid a visit to the "CSI: Miami" set on Thursday ... no, wait ... it was the Missouri Highway Patrol Crime Lab, right here in Jefferson City.
Nixon signed five bills into law during the visit, and learned how the Highway Patrol uses technology to solve cases.

Fort Smith, AR - Police said a Sebastian County man raped his toddler daughter, burned her with a cigarette and exposed her to marijuana and methamphetamine smoke while living in a storage shed.
Ashley Neil McMillion, 29, was booked into the Sebastian County jail on charges that include second-degree battery and rape.

Detectives discovered the active methamphetamine lab when they made contact with a 33-year-old male at the residence.
