US meth use down, but arrests up in Alabama
AL - For years, methamphetamine use was the fastest-growing drug abuse problem in the United States. It now appears to be slowing down.
A national study released earlier this month indicates methamphetamine use in the country decreased by 60 percent between 2006 and 2008.

Deputies make meth arrest in sheriff's office parking lot
AL - Houston County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Dothan teenager Wednesday and charged her with possession of meth.
According to court records, deputies charged Darla Leann Cheek, 19, of Ross Clark Circle, with felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records show deputies charged Cheek with possession of meth in the parking lot at the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
