Survey gauges Wyoming students' meth knowledge
Cheyenne, WY - Fourteen percent of elementary students here say they have been around someone who used meth.
And nearly 31 percent say they have been around someone who used an illegal drug other than meth.
Toddler tests positive for meth
Santa Cruz, CA - Santa Cruz police reported Tuesday that Dominican Hospital called officers late Monday to report that a 15-month-old boy taken to the hospital by his mother had apparently ingested methamphetamine, Capt. Steve Clark said.
The toddler had been acting out of character and tested positive for the drug, Clark said. The call came in about 11 p.m., he said, but it is not yet clear what time the child was admitted.
Meth hidden in child's room
St. Albans, WV - State Police say a St. Albans couple had been running a meth lab in their home and hiding drugs in their child's bedroom.
Troopers went to the Fifth Street East home of Justin Richard Atkinson, 29, and Jennifer Louise Boggess, 22, Monday evening after receiving a tip on possible drug activity at the residence, police said.
