Seven in custody after meth bust near police station
Panama City Beach, FL - Seven people are in custody after Panama City Beach Police busted a meth lab just a block and a half from their headquarters on Wednesday. "These days this drug can be anywhere. Upscale neighborhoods, rundown neighborhoods. This drug knows no boundaries," said Major David Humphreys.
Humphreys says 5 men and 2 women were allegedly manufacturing meth inside a home on Firenzo, the very same street the station is on. He says they received a call Wednesday afternoon from a Washington County parole officer who said a man wanted on outstanding warrants might be near the station.
Undercover officers went to the home and arrested the man who was wanted for drug trafficking. While searching the home police found meth and the items used to make it. Six more arrests resulted. More than 350 milliliters of meth was confiscated.
Police discover 6 meth labs in home
Paw Paw, IN - According to the Van Buren County’s Sheriff’s Office, police found six meth labs in a home Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 2 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 33000 block of 56th Avenue in Paw Paw attempting to locate a suspect with a warrant out for maintaining a meth lab at the same residence back in September.
